Pump Automation
A Pump Automation System is an advanced, intelligent control solution designed to automate, monitor, and optimize the operation of industrial pumping systems. Developed to improve system reliability, energy efficiency, and process accuracy, pump automation integrates sensors, PLC control panels, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), SCADA connectivity, and safety interlocks into a unified automated platform.
A pump automation system ensures that pumps operate only when required—at the correct pressure, flow rate, and speed—reducing energy consumption, preventing dry-run damage, maintaining system balance, and extending pump life. By continuously monitoring parameters such as tank levels, pressure, temperature, flow, vibration, and motor load, the system adjusts pump performance in real-time, ensuring optimal operation even in demanding industrial environments.
These systems are widely used across water treatment plants, industrial process plants, chemical dosing systems, boilers, RO systems, HVAC plants, firefighting pump rooms, oil & gas applications, and manufacturing utilities. By integrating smart controllers, real-time monitoring, alarms, and automated protections, pump automation reduces manual intervention and prevents unexpected breakdowns.
Barrel pumps for low or medium viscosity fluids generally employ extended centrifugal pumps with single, double or multiple impellers. The rotation of the impeller discharges the liquid up the tube and out of a port at the top of the immersion tube.
Our Pump Automation Systems are custom-engineered to meet specific plant requirements, providing SCADA-based remote monitoring, IoT-enabled data logging, auto/ manual switchovers, pump alternation, pressure/flow-based start-stop, and full fault protection. Each system is built using high-quality electrical components, industrial-grade PLCs, and durable panel hardware to ensure maximum reliability and long-term performance.
